Angela is the author of her autobiography titled, Miracles in Action. While she was in Japan on military duty, her family in California was involved in a fatal car crash. Their car fell 25' off the highway, landed upside down on top of two other parked vehicles with people inside. Praise God they were alright, however her two eight-year-old sons died instantly at the scene. One of the many miracles was that God allowed Murice and Roger to write and leave behind incredible good-bye letters. While Angela was writing her sons' memorial program God told her their letters were to soothe her soul, but more importantly to share that no matter what your situation may look like on the surface, God is always in control, and miracles are in action.
